30 Day Weight Loss Challenge
The 30 day weight loss challenge seems to be the most popular of all the weight loss challenges that people are doing. 30 days is probably the best one because it is achievable by most people and many people see some real good results. People are not starving themselves like some do with the 7 day weight loss challenge. Some people start off like they are going to do the 7 day challenge but by the 7th day they realize that they have 4 more weeks to go. It’s time to settle into a pattern that they can live with and continue to lose weight. Their target goes to losing somewhere between 20 to 30 lbs. This is very achievable because I personally have lost a little more than 20 lbs myself. I did have some days that I felt like I was starving myself but it was do-able. I was on some weight loss pills that contained ephedra which is now banned.
Ephedra For Weight Loss, The Miracle or Killer?
It’s best that ephedra was banned because I do believe it may cause issues with the liver. Some scientific studies show that ephedra causes liver damage. I have low liver numbers so I may be one of those people that was effected by it. I get pains in my upper right side from time to time but I just put my head under a rock and try to forget about it. Some of us men avoid the doctor at all cost. That’s me! Sometimes I wonder how many other people have the same issue as me?
So You Are Doing A 30 Day Weight Loss Challenge
Hopefully you are not using any type of weight loss product. Slim weight loss products are not needed for you to lose weight. All you need to do is eat less and exercise more. It is as simple as that. If you are consuming 2500 calories a day cut back 500 calories to 2,000 calories daily. Every 6 days you will lose 1 lb. Now lets exercise every day and burn 500 extra calories a day to make it 3,500 calories a week. that is another 1 lb. Take 2 lbs and multiply that by 4.2 and you get about 9 lbs of weight loss in a month. Not enough for you? Most weight loss pills are part fluid pills. Fluid pills will take another 5 lbs or so off.
A Little Exercise Goes A Long Way
Exercise is a must if you are serious about losing weight. It does not have to be a lot of exercise. If you do not normally exercise then just do 15 minutes a day of brisk walking each day. Ideally 30 minutes a day of exercise is perfect. Just get out and move your body. Do you have a dog? Then run around and play with your dog. The key is to do more exercise then what you have done in the past. Take stairs vs the elevator, park at the back of the parking lot and walk that 1/2 block extra, little things like this can add up. Do you have a sit down job at work? Do some isometrics while sitting there.
